Around Kroscienko

Kroscienko is a small town with 4600 inhabitants, 450m above sea level in the heart of the Pieniny mountains and close to the Slovak border. The Chalet is situated at the side of a river on the edge of town.

There is a lake nearby. Shops, restaurants, a pub and a nightclub are located within a five minute walk.
Local activities include walking, pony-trekking, sailing, quad bikes, paragliding, bobsleigh, kayaks, white water rafting, skiing and snowboarding (5km) and a lakeside beach.





There are thermal springs and thermal baths at the Polish/Slovak border. The medieval city of Krakow, the salt mine at Wielicska and Auschwitz can be reached by car or public transport. There is a regular bus service to the local capital, Zakopane (55km) which is a pretty resort, very popular with the indigenous population.
